Was kinda surprised when I got a letter from Suzuki of America today. Basically says there may be issues with the front crossmember the front A arms tie into due to rust and them not setting it up right and blah blah. Contact your local dealer for an inspection and replacement will be done if necessary...blah blah blah.
I can scan it if anyone needs it. Good to see Suzuki finally owning up to it as Chevy did this with the Trackers a few years ago.

no letter no rust

got mine :)

Got mine too. For my 02 XL7 4x4 Limited

Got mine inspected by Shepard Suzuki in Richmond, KY this last week. Bit of a drive but there's none for 3 hours from here and I was going there with it anyways.
Says it's the worst they've seen but nothing actionable now. Then again they don't get half the road salt we do. They said to be sure and get it checked yearly.
Also got the timing chain tensioner replaced under warranty and the door remote controller replaced.

I have a 2003 XL7 but did not get a letter. Does anyone in the forum know what years are included? Thank you.

Call Suzuki America and ask. I was under the impression it was all years with this body style, 99-06.

I was informed by a local dealer here in Toronto about that inspection being done when I came in to buy some parts. They preformed the integrity test and found that my XL-7 was fine.

Oh yes, I received a letter too. Dealer found nothing wrong though.
