Title: main seal problem
Post by: weston on March 06, 2009, 02:53:47 PM
I just completed a head job on 86 samari and replaced the front main seal due to an oil leak. The crank had a small groove in it i guess due to wear. Replaced seal and buttoned her up now its leaking worse than ever. Any suggestions on a fix would be greatly appreciated.  Chevy makes an over sized seal for this didnt know if possible with a zuki?

yes it's called a speedy sleve and any good machine shop, or bearing house can get you one but you will have to measure your crank! IIRC its 32mm?
