Title: New Exhaust
Post by: zukiboy on August 25, 2004, 04:19:40 PM
I just finished putting a Thorley header, a high flow cat and magnaflow muffler on my sammi what a big difference it made. ;D Feels like it gained at least 10 hp, it will actually pull itself in 5th gear. Well worth the money.

I'm pretty happy with my Calmini cat-back exhaust, nice tone, and breathes much better.  Witht the K&N filter, the motor feels like it wants to jump out!! LOL...

Next year Calmini header will do just nice.

Anyone have any #'s for the Thorely vs. Calmini debate? I'd take either, but what's the deal? Anyone else with some knowledge/experience dealing with both?

Cool!

I just have the Calmini cat-back system on mine.  I'd love to do the header & hi-flow cat someday.

How's the sound?

The sound is great, 8) you can hear it but it's not real loud. I went with the Thorley because I live in Calif. and I have to pass emmisions every other year. The only one that is certified  for this state. I'll let you know if it helps my mpg any,as I drive 80 miles a day to and from work.
