Title: Front shock choices
Post by: ncspack7civic on March 11, 2009, 02:22:08 PM
Ok here's a quick question. What are the options for front shocks for the tracker and sidekick? I've seen so many different choices for the rear but not very many for the front. I've see the Calmini fronts that come with the kit and I've seen the OME shocks. Is there anything else we can use thats a good choice and maybe a cheaper one as well?

I know you wrote shocks but I think you're meaning struts... :) I have tried a set of the KYB struts and shocks that KYB recommend for a Sidekick/Tracker and I can make a recommendation to stay away from this package. The ride is quite harsh and just, yuck...

Good luck,

There are the OME struts... and that is about it.  :D

Bilstein makes a stock replacement, not sure how good it is but I know it's expensive.  However, I would be more then willing to give them the benefit of the doubt considering their reputation and the high quality of their shocks I have put on other vehicles.
