Got a set of used rims off of Jubie (thanks!), cleaned them with some oven cleaner and scrubbed the crap out of them with some steel wool, polished them a little, clear coated them and they cleaned up pretty good.

Those look great. It totally changes the look from stock even though they are "stock" rims.

I like it as well. That's what I like about Suzuki's. You don't need to go buy all kinds of unique, one-off aftermarket stuff for them because half the parts from other cars work on them.

I did'nt know you could use wheels off the old body trackers and sidekicks on the 99 and up models. How far back can you go in years for the wheels to still work mine is a 99 tracker softtop 4X4.

I like the looks. I think these should have came stock with the sapcers and 29"(235/75/15) tires, they just look better. So, are you like me, do you want 31's now?

The only limiting factor on swapping rims I am aware of is the larger calipers on the GV's now.  First Gen Sidekick and Trackers were pretty much inter-changable (15" 5 X 5 1/2 bolt pattern).  Then they came out with the 16" GV rims and larger caliper bodies so the 15" rims didn't just bolt on anymore.  Bigger calipers equal better braking, and I'm all for that, but it ain't happening on the Trackers. 

I've thought about 31s but until I upgrade my diffs to a higher ratio AND burn the existing road tread off my current tires, I'm not going any larger.   These Michelins wear like iron for me (as long as I keep the truck aligned).  I had an opportunity to grab a set of 4:88s at a really good price a few weeks ago... screwed around too long and they were gone.  My fault and my loss. 

So I'm still in the "looking for a set of gears" to upgrade to.  If I come across a set of 5:12s carriers first that are in good shape, the right right spline count and at the right price, I'll probably opt to go with them. They would pull 31" tires and 31s would be as large of a tire as my truck will ever see while I own it.   A set of 4:88s would get me back to stock gearing running my current tires plus I could still run 30s in the future with the 4:88 gear sets without losing my 5th gear on hills.
