Title: Brake lines on Samurai
Post by: robbin on March 19, 2009, 01:30:04 PM
I know this has been covered before but my memory is not too good. I'm doing a SOA with 2" shackles on my 87 Sami. I know I need longer brake lines. And I know rubber is better than stainless. What I need to know is, brake lines off what other vehicles will fit on the Sami?

If you want to go cheap with it, you can go to a wrecking yard and pull some single rear break lines off of Toyota 4runners and pickups. I cant remember the year probably 86+...just look for male/male break lines.  I think i payed like 10 bucks for 4 rear lines.

Also I think SS break lines are an upgrade from rubber.

I think ft brake line from a tracker are quite abit longer & one sides longer than the other and they work.. banjo fitting on one end female on other end

I forgot to mention that you just add that you daisy chain the yota brake line to the stock sami line. You end up with i think about an 18 inch brake line.
