Title: Starter sticking, wipers won't turn off, can't get '94 Tracker out of park
Post by: longarch on March 20, 2009, 06:39:56 PM
The weirdest thing happened to my '94 Tracker today. The solenoid stuck on my starter so I tapped  it with the end of my breaker bar and it cranked right up. Then later on in the day my windshield wipers came on by themselves and I could not turn them off. Also, I could not get my Tracker out of park. I over road the problem by removing the wiper fuse. I was then able to move from park and get my vehicle home. I still have all three problems. Has anyone had these problems before?

I'm not an electrician, but it sure sounds to me like you've got a shorted set of wires in there somewhere.
