No, only the 4 door ZR2 package Tracker under the Chevy nameplate. The Suzuki Grand Vitara and Grand Vitara XL-7 came with v6s, 2.5 and 2.7(XL-7). The Vitara came with either a 1.6 16v or a 2.0 twin cam 16v 4 cyl.

2-dr Vitaras had the six also just not in this country.
The 2.5L of 2004 are different than the older ones in terms of power out put.

That engine was available in the UK in the 5dr, I'm told its a Mazda engine. It was around the same time that they were fitting the 2.0l Mazda diesel in the Vit (old Track/Kick) shape, so its believable  :)

Could be seeing as how these trucks old body style and new are available with sooooo many engine options in other countries.

Curiousity sucks,

Does anyone out there have the Diesel Track/Kick?Vitara?   How does it run, and what type of electrical system does it have. (ie, could I put one in my 91 tracker with the Auto?)

lots of torque - twice as much.  I like, I like.   All I need now is an aluminum block diesel for my light weight tracker

The Kick diesel ran a Mazda motor and the later GV have Peugot/Citroen common rail turbo diesel and I think there was something else in between, maybe one of the UK guys can tell. NZ gets the diesel GV but not for OZ.
