Title: question about Samurai hesitating
Post by: mcs on March 29, 2009, 07:49:08 PM
I just bought a 90 fuel injected sami and I am having a problem with it. The best way to describe it, it's like it's not getting fuel when I am driving, it will not go and then all of a sudden it goes.
I changed out the fuel pump with a trackick fuel pump because the guy I got it from put a chevy fuel pump in it I was hoping that was the problem but no luck. I changed out the distributer cap and rotor changed the spark plugs and wire and still same problem. Any one got any ideas any help is appreciated.

Some of the fuel pumps for the Tack/kicks have different pressure than the ones for the Samurai. Or your fuel filter could need changing. So it would be best to have a pressure done. Also your air filter may be dirty.
