Title: Strut mount!!
Post by: MaD.72 on March 30, 2009, 05:27:37 PM
This is what i want to do... i want to lift my sidekick 2"

For the rear i'm going to built a 2" coil spacer, and later ad some rear shock from a ford E-150 97'

For the front i'm going to built a 1,5" coil spacer, why?? because for every inch that you ad to the rear you have to raise the front 3/4" Exemple 2" for the rear equal 1,5" for the front

the think that puzzle me now is if i flip the strut mount and ad a 1/2" spacer, will the strut be long enough??

BTW i'm going to use 2"1/2 Exhaust Flange for the strut spacer

i used 1/2" pvc to drop my flipped mount, and am using the stock(and original, i'm sure) struts.
i think that is near the limit of the cv joints when extended.
perhaps another 1/2" is possible.
i have not tried.
