I bought from Jeff1997. I forget what I actually paid...but it's a great deal for a few safe, reliable inches of ride height....and you can easily stick 30" tires under a 2 door track/kick with his lift.
-
I also have jeff's spacers, with mustang shocks and the diff spacer, it flexes pretty well. Can't beat it for the price. Here's a link to his pricing:

Ditto, I have jeffs spacers too, and they are great. Got 30"s under it with minor trimming inside front wheel well.

2-3 inches of suspension lift for under a couple hundred bucks
Sorry dude, I was payin more attention to the " under a couple hundred bucks" part ::), Jeff's lift with shocks, is about 200$ Either way to "do it yourself" you'll need longer springs or spacers, longer shocks, strut spacer or mount flip. Sounds like alot of extra effort to figure out all the "DIY" stuff when Jeff sells a package deal within the stated price range. Guess I'm just lazy :sleepy:
P.S. Question about the *gulp* wood spacers, ??? Does pressure treating make'em waterproof? Just wonderin.

If you are planning on going through with cutting up some wooden spacers you might as well just buy a chunk of Poly and cut them out of it instead. :)

Better yet save yourself the hassles and SAFETY issuses and just buy them from me. WOOD? seriously? If anyone has actually done that , Please stay away from me on the road.

I got a 1.5" coil spacer lift, 2" rear coil spacer lift, and 1.5" strut spacer lift. With monroe mustang shocks. I got them from jeff1997 and I paid $200 dollars.
I am selling this for $150 shipped to 48 us states. It has about 200 miles on it. Cant even tell it was used.
Let me know if interested. THanks

I'd never sell Jeff's spacers. They're like space age moon plastic. I can't believe he sells them so cheap! If anything...I'll just get bigger springs, and add to the lift I already have. I'll probably actually have to get a diff spacer from him soon.
Good luck though.

Spacers made out of wood?? Forget it! But a couple of old tires can allow you to cut some rings out of them, use it as spacers and it work! I've try it two years ago and they still in place.
-
I'm running Jeffs Spacers also, cheap, reliable, and great results. THen I got a 2" BL for about the same. Pretty cheap for 4" of lift.
-
if you take the bottom body mount rubber and stack it on the upper rubber, you get just under a 2" body lift for free and no need to extend anything, even the body mount bolts/studs..........this is on an grand v and xl-7's. never tried it on my sidekicks tho......

oh and get this, when i worked at a body shop, i made a mold for 1.5 inch coil spacers and made them out of fiberglass resin HAHAHAHAHHA
this was my first lift and it was free and worked just fine, still makes me laugh

Better speak up fast, tho we got a cold snap coming and I might need some kindling! I know, Jeff is thinking "Won't these ever go away!?" These are Hickory broom handles I took out of a customer's Gen II Tracker. He was real desperate for some lift as you can see:

This car made it all the way from California to Northern Michigan. It didn't stop 'till he busted an axle wheelin'. He finally made a good decision to have me fetch it and do some upgrades. Build post coming soon! "Course some folks just wanna live dangerously:

What you see are only 5 threads showing because of wheel spacers !He's contracting in Iraq now.

NICE, "space age moon plastic". How did you guys find out I stole the formula from NASA? Actually I work with a lot of wood and hickory or maple would have the same shore hardness as my plastic. The durability is not there. Also if you live where termites are a problem, well need I say more?

My first lift was with jeff's coil spacers. 4 door springs in a 2 door, good lift better ride, cost less than jeff's. If you cut around the outside of the spring pad and raise it 1" to 1 1/2" more lift, almost free (cutting and welding involved). Raising the spring pad straightens the alignment of the spring pads when lifting ifs. DYI is not free, but certainily low cost. I now have all the above, and am replacing front 4 door springs & 1" coil spacer with OME springs. Cost more, but swapping the 4 door springs into another 2 door. Two lifts for price of one set of springs) .

Awesome. Just......awesome.
And the wheel spacers without extended studs.......scary. Crazy scary.

I actually made some Oak Spacers and ran them on the front.
I have a Calimini 3" suspention lift and I did the Mike H. widening. The front end drooped. So I had some sold oak around, so I cut out some spacers to see the size I needed. Ended up leaving them in there for about a year - year and a half before replacing them with plastic.
In Michigan theres a lot of MUD. When I pulled them out, other than being black, they were in great condition.
I think I still have them on the shelve in the barn.

thanks for the input guys... I will let you know what i go with whenever i get a chance and..... whenever i get my next pay check :S
