Title: My 10 yr old V6 Project....

I have had my '86 Sammy diassembled and on the back burner for like 10 yrs now.  I should have it done mabey in the next ten !! :laugh:

I have a 2000 Vortec V-6 and Dana 44's for it....Still debating on a T/C to run behind the 4x4 4l60.

Any idea or suggestions ??

Dana 300 or something ??

The D-300 is pretty common for people to run along with a 4.3.

my plan was to run an 86 or 87 208

d-300 is a better case  all gears  np 208 is chain
d 300 smaller but weights more
np 208 big 4 a sami
d 300 has gear options ???
