Post by: Dimitros on April 04, 2009, 09:56:38 AM
Maybe someone knows where can I get the stock rear 3-rd member with 3.73 gears (if i remember correctly there is 3.73).

Thanks!

If money is tight, a visit to an auto salvage yard might be best.

Otherwise, any Suzuki dealer would be able to get you one.

Alternatively, if the bearings are going bad, you might consider getting a rebuild kit.  Lots of the vendors that advertise here sell them.  Yukon is the most popular kit.  Since you are in a different part of the world, you might start your search at a local auto parts store or offroad performance shop.  Shipping would be pretty high from the US to the Ukraine...

Good Luck!

Thanks Ack! :)

My friend is going to shipp the whole container to Ukraine via seaway, there'll be much heavier and bigger stuff than 3-rd member(s). I would go even for couple of rear-end 3-rds with 4.1 or maybe 3.9 gearing, if there's such in existence.

Even more, I would go for something like EZ-Locker or Lock-Rite installed in one of theme, besides which of those considered the best?

I tried to find an internet shop which sells new or remanufactured 3-rds but 've found none, so now I don't know what to do.

My former front and now rear-end 3-rd won't leave for long after two times per month hard wheeling. So now I'm looking for rediffing (is there such a word ??? cause there is redifferentiation ;)).
