Title: what are some good aftermarket carbs
Post by: mudslinger987 on April 05, 2009, 09:29:40 AM
I am looking for a aftermarket carb for a 88 samurai with the stock 1.3L It is strickly a off road use only and i trailer it to the trails. I heard that the webers are not the best for offroad use. I have two spare carbs sitting around one is for a SJ410 sidedraft and the other is a aisin. But I am looking for a performance upgrade as well.

Stay away from the weeber and check out this. http://www.zuksoffroad.net/samurai_engine.htm (http://www.zuksoffroad.net/samurai_engine.htm) The MY sides are after the MY-FI. I had a weeber and tossed it for a MS2 with the Screaming Eagle. Well worth the coin.
