Title: 1991 Suzuki Jimny
Post by: mac3978 on April 07, 2009, 05:24:18 PM
Looking at getting back into Zuk's and I found a japanese import Suzuki Jimny with the 660 cc turbo, hard top Panoramic roof, really good shape, but have no idea if any north american parts are interchangable. It look like it has the same narrow wheel base as the sj413.

Thanks for any feed back

Colin

That's pretty cool.  :)

I would pick it up just for the fun factor, but you will probably want to swap your axles out.  Hopefully someone with some knowledge of what is on the Jimny's will be able to give you some info on them.

ooooo!  Where at?   I'll buy if if you don't!

I think the Jimny's look soooo cool!  Way ahead of their time...and should have been sold here in the states.

You do realize that a 1991 Jimny is a SJ410 with a smaller engine? Not the Jimny currently sold that made it's debut in 1998

Really?  The turbo charged 660 probably puts out a bit more torque though...  Same drive train and everything?

Japs turbo-Jimnys, as for drivetrain, are closer to sj410 than to sj413 or Sam, as for engine...hmm
completely different.

there are 5 parts - History of Suzuki Jimny part 1/5....5/5

Might be interesting.
