I have a '94 4 dr. Sidekick with 203,000 miles. I've been running 75-90 gear lube in it since it was new but I wondered if anyone had tried Sychromesh to make it shift smoother in cold weather. I don't want to change and risk doing any damage at this point, just curious.
Thanks
Rick

i acually had the same thing going through my head when i swapped my trans fluid. ran synchromesh in my old turbo firefly and it was the only thing that let it shift properly.
calgary isnt the best place for thick fluid... -40 is not the easiest to shift threw...
