Hi all
What a cool site! I've been searching for something like this for ages.
I'm based over the pond in London, UK, and am the proud owner of a '91 Vitara :D
Right, well, I'm off to go try make a dent on the archived messages ;)
cheers

they had 2 classes, 36 and under(ME), 36 and up.  i was kinda mad haw the pit was built.  it was kinda like a U just 100 feet long really deep in the middle with a big burm where every one had gotten stuck.  alot of people where pissed about it.  and their was only like 8 or 9 people in the 36 and under so i think i did a bad job, took a bad line. :'(  anyway, i'll be back next year, bigger and badder ;)

Have been to K9RDJ quite a few times mate, as well as Tonka's ;) good stuff!
I'm a long way from blasting along off road like that.. I'm afraid my 'zuki is more of an urban animal that only occasionally slips its leash to wallow in mud :-[

Ah London...the home of the almighty Iron Maiden... I would so love to go to London one day... UK is cool.
I have a 91 Sidekick (Vitara) also!! Any pics, mate?

Whoah, a newb that looks at archives before asking the same question again, cool. J/K i've probably done the same my self a number of times. It's fun to hear the latest input on the popular subjects every once in a while. So, Gecko, ask away and WELCOME

This weekend I've got a wedding to go to. Was down Tonbridge way this past weekend for the monster truck thingy at the Hop Farm though..that was pretty cool.
(has sudden visions of dropping a V8 into his 'zuki 8) )
As for pics, I'll snap one as soon as it stops raining long enough for me to get my camera out :P
So far I've just been nosing around with a view to getting myself a K&N air filter. Any reccomendations for a UK supplier for a new exhaust btw?
Er...this is a bit embarassing :-[ :-[ but I how do i tell if a Vitara is an 8 or 16V.. ?
cheers
-
It should say 16V right on the front of the motor if it is, otherwise it's an 8V.  I've got a Sammi and no Track/kick engine compartment pics to post to point it out to you, sorry.  But I'm sure someone else does.
