Title: rear suspension for leaf over
Post by: matt4x4 on May 01, 2009, 08:41:14 AM
I'm about to strart my solid axle swap on my kick, it will be a Sammy diff with stock sammy leafs. I plan on doing a leaf over because I'd like to run my 31 LTBs without a bodylift.

My question is what are people doing for the rear suspension for this set up?I'd like the truck to sit equal.

Also do you think I'll be able to get away with no bodylift?

Any help would be appreciated :)

You can go both ways on the rear end.  Either taller springs and raising the center link up a few inches or just putting springs underneath it and welding on some spring pads.

How much additional lift are you looking to get in the front?  For 31" tires I think 4" should be enough.
