So ive been wondering why my cluster light up top are not on at night. i though maybe it was a bulb well it was but i found out there is a kink in the circuit board. i did some tests and the kink must of broke the wire in the film so i was thinking on melting or scratching the film away and laying some soder on those points or maybe you guys can give me a idea?

If the copper trace is broken, you can easily scrape off the green stuff on either side of the break and solder a copper jumper wire across it. Just be gentle and don't use a giant soldering iron - get a small one from Radio Shack along with rosin-core solder. DO NOT use plumber's or sheet metal solder with an acid core!
