Title: Help in Calmini tranny protector install in 5-door kick
Post by: wiretap_MD on May 08, 2009, 11:33:55 AM
I recently purchased the calmini tranny protector for the 5-door sidekick and I can't seem to figure out how to line up the bolt holes on the tranny protector to any holes in my crossmember at all.  Yes, the front holes of the protector line up with the mounting holes that are shared with the front calmini skid plate that I have installed.  No installation instructions / manuals ever came with the shipment.  According to calmini, its supposed to be a straightforward install.

Anybody with 5-doory sidekicks with the tranny protector installed?  I'd appreciate it if you could take pics of your installation.  Thanks!

I've been looking through the Calmini catalog a lot, and they only make one for the 2dr track/kicks.  Im not sure if they're meant for the 4dr, unless you bought a different one that their catalog does not list?

Calmini sold me the SK10047.  According to the webpage, it should be for the 2/4 door:
