So it comes to my attention that as of June 1st Nova Scotia is going to ban lift kits on all vehicles. There will be a number to call to see if the lift you have is approved for use if it's not on that list your off the road.So for all us who have home made lifts even though they may be just the same as something that you would by IE...Nylon spring spacers and 3" square tubings they will be outlawed.I understand they want to ban aftermarket exhausts lowering springs and lights also if it's not factory it's not legal! Does anyone from Nova Scotia Canada have any input on this ?Or any other info opinions that they would share? Thanks!

there was talk about doing that in Oregon, the politician says that lift kits, that = bigger tires, engine performance upgrades and so on, harm the environment........ HAHAHAH
from what i remember, that bill did not get passed because of the job loss in the automotive aftermarket industry.
that is just what i read in a thread on the diesel truck website that I'm on, so don't take it for gospel......
but as far as lift kits here (BC) any car or truck that is lifted or lowered, 3 inches or more including the hight of the tires, has to be inspected......not that many people do, but thats how it is here......

it is sad what this world is coming to, isn't it? WHY can't government and crooks let the good people of the world drive what they want? They try to control our guns, our lives, and our cars, now they're telling us where to drive and not to drive.
This is also in response to the OHV route issue currently taking place in California
BTW I believe this should be in the "Watercooler"...there are "3 G's not allowed in forums"...
guns...
government...
gospel...
