My project for this long weekend was to remove my transfer case on my 1999 5-speed, 4X4 Tracker and send it out for repairs.  I removed all of the bolts between the transfer case and the adapter, but can't slide the transfer case off the housing.  What gives?  Does the transfer case and the transmission have to be removed as a unit?  I'm desperate.  Need to have it shipped by Tuesday.  Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated.

Are you SURE you removed all the bolts? There's one up top in the center that's a pita to get to.
