Title: Sidekick third in sami axle

Can someone refresh my memory . Will a sidekick front third fit into a samurai front axle or do you take the front ring and pinion out of a sidekick and in stall into a samurai third ???

Pre-96 will fit, after that you need to run the aftermarket front axles as the side gears change the spline count.  Front 3rd only.  :)

So can I just put the side gears from a sammy into the sidekick carrier instead of upgrading the axles?

No, they have a different carrier. You will need to put the gears into the Sammy 3rd member.
