Title: gauge cluster lost fuel and temp readings, Please Help.

On my Way home today turned a corner and lost fuel level and temp reading on my gauge cluster, Its a 91 FI samurai 1.3 please help.Checked obvious loose wires, bare spots in wires, etc, kind of weird how both things went out at the same time, looked at the wire diagram and it looks like the 2 items are on seperate circuits, the only common I see is the Gauge cluster any help would greatly be appreciated.

Found the problem small stainless steel wire in the back of the fuel gauge broken in half.
