Title: transmission shifter problems
Post by: scooterszuk on June 16, 2009, 09:25:41 AM
fellows when I shift to 3rd gear, my shifter gets stuck and I have to take boot off and adjust the shifter back into position then i can change gears again, I notice it has gotten sloppy shifting, not crisp to engauge anymore. My question is, is the linkage in the transmission screwed or is it the shifter worn out?

There is a shift pin that breaks on the Samurai Transmissions. In our Gear Guide section you will find an article that show one of the ways to fix the problem.
