I'm going to be doing a 1" body lift with hockey pucks. I'm looking for just a little more articulation/flex room with my 235's. I'm wondering how many body mounts my 03 tracker has? From what I understand, getting into a body lift 2 inches or higher may mean extending steering/other equipment, but I figure 1 inch shouldn't require any extentions.

Still need to extend the syeering shaft. Honestly, it's not worth the trouble for a 1" body lift, the 2" is the same amount of work and you get more lift.
-
Thats interesting. So I'm going to need to extend the steering shaft reguardless of what lift? Then I might as well do a 2" hockey puck lift. :)

Yup, you will need to extend the steering shaft for even a 1" lift. I know from experience because I bent mine as there really isn't room for even 1" of play without putting more strain on the steering shaft. I've done a body lift on my GV as well as the XL-7.

If I do a 2" lift will anything else need adjusted besides the steering shaft?

your bumper supports will need to be modified so you can put your bumper covers back on.

Hmmmm.....What about the rocky road 1" coil spring spacers? It says no other modifications required. Does this mean you can stay with your factory struts?
-Thanks

I would only reccomend these for the 2.0L. I had them on my XL-7 and they squished to about 3/4 inch. But yeah, nothing else is needed.

Same squishiness in a 2.0. If you want coil spacers, there are plenty of better options on this site. Care to chime in jeff1997?

I've heard Jeff makes a great product. I may just bite the bullet and go with his setup for about 2" of lift. Sounds like there is no quick/easy way to do a quality 1" lift.

You'll be happy with Jeff's product, I am.

He'll make you 1"ers if you want.
