Coincidently (not? )...... Goodbye Daewoo (Forenza, Reno), hello Nissan (Equator).

Guess I'm an old grouch, but initial quality ratings don't mean much to me. A scratch in the paint could be a mark against the initial quality of a new car. Long term reliability is much more important in my book in selecting a vehicle. Suzuki has already earned high marks in all the reliability reports I have read. Some of the manufacturers rating highly in this J. D. Powers study don't have as good long term reliability reputations. It would be interesting to compare the repair records of these cars 10 years from now.
