Title: Fuel injection conversion
Post by: KRAWLGUY on June 24, 2009, 05:08:04 PM
I recently swapped a fuel injection set up from a 1990 sami into my 1986 tin top.  Everything went great and it starts up and runs fine until it warms up and its driven for a few miles.  It acts like as it was starving for fuel when you give it gas.  I am thinking it is either fuel pressure regulator or injector.   The fuel pump is brand new from low range offroad.   If any body out there has had any issues with a similar situation, any feed back and help would be great.   Thanks  James TKS offroad

check the size of your fuel lines, could be too small.

Have you got a high pressure fuel filter fitted?
