We flat towed my 90 Kick out to do some wheeling last weekend and made at least one major mistake... we forgot about the steering wheel locking, so with no key in the ignition the wheels locked and started barking on turns.
My dad is wondering now, do you recommend we leave both the tranny and t-case in neutral or leave the t-case in 2WD Hi while the tranny is in neutral? We left the t-case in Hi so that the spinning gears will keep everything lubricated. Is this necessary or should we put the t-case in neutral as well?
Thanks guys.

u should start the kick every 100 or so miles anyways so i wouldnt worry about lube

Have the trans in 2nd gear and the transfef case in neutral ,
lockout hubs in free or disconect the rear driveshaft with the front hubs in freewheel.

I agree with RBEBY. Trans in 2nd and transfer in neutral with hubs unlocked.
