ok so here are the photos
this one is of the mount
yes ist dirty , but the rubber seems soft and doesnt seem to be torn anywhere . i would also think if it had went bad , wouldnt it drop the axle lower ?

here is the  bolt . this would be from the back side , drive shaft side
(http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y242/captchee/scout/suzuki007.jpg)

i also took these two  that are from alittle diffrent angle .  so as to show that the housing is a is rubbing around the area of both sides of the bolt
approx   10 to 11 oclock  area when  looked at from the back side

i also thought  that i might have hit something and bent the cross member up alittle . ??? can recall doing so , she has not been off road  since i had it apart for the rear main seal  ???
a laid a ruler across the top edge  and she seems true even though the bottom shows  years of use .
to be factual here , i have never had it  off road . i use it for work  so 90% is highway  and 10% gravel roads
as to feeling something in 4 wheel ? i dont think i have had it in 4 wheel since i put things back together ?
dont think i put it back wrong , she was  self exsplanitory really , only one real way it could go in

well i know the diff is to close to the motor. so I would check the bolts for the motor mounts both on the block and the ones that are to the frame. there is three per side. also check the diff mounts there is one on each side near the cv shafts. I think if they are loose or broke it would lower the front of the diff and push the back up. I would just start checking everything and anything you can think of. thats what I would do if the things i mentioned are fine. let us know what it is when you find out. if you can get more pics that would be great. good luck

I'd do some cleaning and make sure that's the source of your oil leak while I was down there. Wherever it's coming from looks like it's been there a while with all the road grime stuck to it.

originaly the leak was from the front  cam shaft and main seals . those i  replaced . then  i followed it to the rear main seal , replaced it  as well ast the dizzy seal .
when i got home today  i gott down there and replace the  oil pan bolt gasket  and found that  the leak was  and is coming from a hole in the pan , cased by this bolt .
the oil is very silver coming off it . i think this is do to  the dust coming from the alumunume rubbing on the  bell   Dif housing .
the grim is  dirt from my 2 mile  dirt driveway .

now what im wondering also is that on eac side of the  avel housing , is  an arm that comes down.
the look good and are tight but im wondering  if  the had started to wear , could the let the front axle housing twist ?.
but then it doesnt really look twisted .

now i have not  put a wrench on the  engine mount bolts yet .
  but i wonder this .
should there be shims under the sadldles .?
this seems to me to be the only way to raise the engine up higher .
from what i can see this looks like the same type of set up as  used to bee on the willies  M35 .
IE the engin mount  bolts to a a saddle / craddle that  then sets on to of a tab from the fram . then it bolts to that .
there are no shims  under these plates .
so  now my next question would be , how much space should there be between  the axel and the pan . i know its always been tight since i have had it . but  not this tight

well there are no shims under them. as for the space between diff and pan not sure i would have to check mine and see. I would just start checking everything in the area it could be something that we are not even thinking about. thats the way it is most of the time.

ok so i checked all the bolts on the  engine mounts as well as the what i think wold be called carriers .
nothing missing , nothing lose .
i even checked the tranny mount  thinking maybe the trany had dropped some ? all looks good and solid
i guess ill have to take the front end apart again so as to drop the pan . i have to fix the hole so  maybe ill find something when i am doing that .
i was hopping someone would be able to say . X happend.
that way i could get the parts before the holiday

well good luck. as for the oil pan use jb weld it works great as long as it is a clean surface. I have used it on gas tanks many times. I will take a look at mine in the morning and see if i can find anything out as to the clearance issue

Look to see if either of the motor mounts are tearing out of the frame.  I had a tracker that the oil pan was rubbing on the front axle housing and the drivers side frame mount was torn out of the frame on the topside; it allowed the engine to drop far enough for the pan to rub on the housing.
