Do I want to go with a electric or manual choke on it? My Samurai is a stock 1.3 with a stock carb and I do not know which it is a little help please thanks.

Neither. Go with motorcycle carbs - they much bettah.

Sammy is most likely to be a thermo operated autochoke. I would go for the manual choke and run a cable through to the dash

E or M doesnt matter. If you have a good 12v wire the E choke is good. The M choke I like better because its 1 less thing to go wrong. The weber 32-36 is like a stock replacement (3-5 mpg and 3-5 hp gain) then there is the weber k601 38 (10-15 hp gain no mpg improvement). Both carbs are sold in kits K601 (32-36) OR K601 38 (E) OR (M). If you plan to daily drive w/ light offroad webers are great. If you plan on climbing flag poles or rock climbing as jeremiah said the motorcycle type application (side draft) will work better. The only major draw-back to the downdraft style is the sharp angle issue
