Title: Squeak/whistle noise inside cabin..

I've had a sweak/whisle noise inside my 2001 GV for a while now, only notice it badly when i'm not pumping the system  ;)

I lubricated all of the "luggage" hooks in the back since they were totally seized and I thought they might squeak when the truck goes over bumps...but it still happens. From the driver's seat it's really hard to tell where it's coming from...could be front or rear area. Sounds like the creak noise that old school bus windows make lol.

Any ideas?

I get a whistle when driving at speed from the wind.  I think it's from my grille or bug sheild.  Not sure about a shcool bus window creak.  I think we should both just keep our systems on so we don't have to hear it.  =P

I've had a seat squeak (underneath, involving the track/spring mechanism) since the truck was new.  Was tremendously difficult to pinpoint; always kinda sounded like it was coming from inside the dash.  fwiw.

beercheck, I think mine might be the same!! I had someone sitting in the passenger seat with me today who swore it was coming from inside the dash...

So did you tighten/lubricate the front seat bolts/spings/tracks to stop the problem?
