I finally fixed my rockers!
-
Looks good. So what did you use to replace the rocker?
-
A company called cross Canada supplied the rockers.
The only down side was the replacement rocker panels had a square edge where as the sidekick has a round edge. It took a little hammering on the kick to flatten it out.

is it a thick material? ive seen guys weld in a 2x3 1/4 wall and turn the rockers into high Clarence rock sliders....works well
looks good man........

No its not that thick.
Its about 3/16 inch sheet metal.
-
I have them in my bookmarks on my browser.
-
Good stuff ;)
Any sheetmetal shop can bend these too. Make a bend template for them using a piece of metal coathanger, and give them the length.
-
Nice job!! You did the plug welds and everything like factory!!
-
Yep, I ground the welds down, filled the empty space with seam sealer and sanded it all flush. After that is was three coats of rocker guard.
