I finally fixed my rockers!

Looks good.  So what did you use to replace the rocker?

A company called cross Canada supplied the rockers. 
The only down side was the replacement rocker panels had a square edge where as the sidekick has a round edge.  It took a little hammering on the kick to flatten it out.

is it a thick material? ive seen guys weld in a 2x3 1/4 wall and turn the rockers into high Clarence rock sliders....works well

No its not that thick. 

Its about 3/16 inch sheet metal.

Good stuff ;)

Any sheetmetal shop can bend these too. Make a bend template for them using a piece of metal coathanger, and give them the length.

Nice job!!  You did the plug welds and everything like factory!!

Yep, I ground the welds down, filled the empty space with seam sealer and sanded it all flush.  After that is was three coats of rocker guard.
