Which air filter is the best flowing,K&N or Calmini.It's for a 1995 Tracker using the stock airbox.Thanks

=/    i bought a Calmini one.   I like it's blueness.

Does anyone have any actual facts that show the airflow increase from stock, for both the KN and the Calmini?   I don't want to seem like I'm grasping at nothing here....but I don't want to feel like I bought the wrong one.   However, I do very much like Calmini's customer service.

I don't have any dyno sheets to prove it, but I've had both, and my engine defintely performs better with the K+N. I actually felt a difference when I changed over.

aw damn.   well i'm not going to go out and buy a new one now.....just gonna keep the pretty blue one, and i'll report on how it holds up in the future.

One of the problems I found with the Calmini filter, is that there are no clear instructions for cleaning and oiling it. I asked Calmini about this and got two different answers! One guy said no oil, another said light oil, and no recommendations on how to clean it. My experience with foam filters in dirtbikes is pretty extensive, and when they get just a bit dirty, they flow like shit. The K+N is easy to clean and re oil, instructions are clear and easy to understand, and the pleated design effectivly gives the filter much more area to flow through. There's some debate on wheather the K+N lets in too many small particles, but that data is mostly biased in favor of another manufacturer's sales strategy. I've been using K+N filters in all my motorcycles for years and most of my 4 wheel vehicles too, with no adverse affects on engine wear, and only better performance to show for it, and I'm kinda picky about that.

I see that K&N has two different air filters for the 1995 Tracker.They are number 33-2065 and 33-2700.Which one of these fits it.
