Title: What is the deal with Yahoo hating on trackicks???
Post by: 95Gstman on July 30, 2009, 07:45:59 PM
Has anyone noticed that on the yahoo home page there is a picture of a trackick going into a dumpster for the story about cash for clunkers? What is up with that? Are they trying to say that I am driving a clunker or what? Looks like I am going to start using google.  ;D

I don't think Yahoo took the picture - nor did they stage it.

They get their articles from various news sources like the Associated Press, etc.

The local Ford dealer where I live has a big dumpster with three GM cars in it!

Feel free to choose whatever homepage that toots your whistle - but base your decision on features and benefits and not something unimportant like a picture taken by some newspaper photographer who wouldn't know a Sidekick from a GTO.

It was just a joke. I thought the picture was funny and my home page has always been yahoo and I do not intend to change it now.

Do you really care about what some asshole you don't even know thinks? Yeah I drive a Tracker, and I don't give a shit what people think. The majority of them are idiots anyway.

Not that it matters, the cash for clunkers is already over with.  Only took 4 days.  :D

LMAO, hey now easy on GW Bush. I gotta say, I care less for our current Commander In Chief than him. I mean you know what I mean? heah heah heah (my bad impression of GW's cheesy laugh we'll never have to listen to again.)

Funny thing that cash for clunkers program was. Not only were dealerships cashing in on it by "doubling" the CFC deal (yeah sure), but I've seen several idiots on Craigslist almost threatening to junk perfectly good vehicles if they weren't bought by xxx date. Case in point, a guy had a 97 Z71 short bed 5 speed with the Vortec 350 in pretty nice condition. He had it listed for $4,500 firm because he was approved for the CFC program. I know I wouldn't have gave that much for it, but was it really deserving of being crushed? Ehh, to each his own I guess.

Back on topic, I saw the Trackick hanging from the dumpster too. At first I laughed, then I cried because I realized I'm broke & I need an engine :'(.
