I am thinking of replacing my 100,000 mile engine with a rebuilt long block. Has any one used john's foreign engines? Seems to be a pretty good selection and 100 horse on a carburated motor would be great.

Maybe I'm missing something - 100 horses from a rebuilt carburetted G13 engine??

I guess. If you use a screaming eagle 44mm harley carb. or one of their carbs. Plus the long tube pace setter header. It seems possible with a 9.5 to 1 compression ratio the right cam etc. Check it out they have a site. Put in John's foreign engines click on samurai or Suzuki.

I did - and the pages I looked at all say 63 hp - which I wouldn't question, but somehow I don't see you getting another 50% more power without some extensive headwork.

IAM JOHNS FOREIGN ENGINES,,,,,AKA 22RE.COM, MY4N.COM, SAMMYPRO.COM
We get plenty of power from these motors. Piston and camshaft selection are very important.
Im only gonna show this once.....If you dont beleive me BUY A MOTOR!

63 is the stock h.p of the g13b (sohc 1.3 8 valve 90-95 w/ the injection)
my 9.5 ratio will do 90-100 H.P. The better 10.2 comp ratio motor does a little more!

Thanks. I will be placing my order by this fall so I can get it installed and ready to plow some snow. I appreciate the info and your time.
