Title: Lifting Gas Tank
Post by: Grandmaster on August 08, 2004, 04:06:02 PM
I installed a 2'' body lift a while back. When I was discussing it people recommended that I also lift the gas tank. How hard is it to do, and realisticly how long would it take?

Ohh here's a picture of it, since I've never shown it off in any of the Zuk forums.

Notice the nice "new" hardtop that I paid $100 for. (had to repaint)

Also, when I get the feeling, I am ging to post how to's w/ pics of a body lift, coil spacer lift, hard top re-paint, Bellypan build, and whatever else I can find.

Looks nice. I've got the same lift mods as you and I'm considering the gas tank lift also but most of the articles I've seen have very bad pictures, no offense intended. ;D I'd like to see a good article with good pics.

I dont think you can raise the tank with only a 2 inch body lift. I dont think you can clear the rear tube.
