Title: Just need some direction about lights
Post by: Minmatar on September 02, 2009, 11:58:57 AM
So i figured ill just buy a HID kit. But my reflectors are shot. Not even polish is bringing them back.....

I was wondering if anyone knows of a replacement that fits in the OEM. Projectors? or just a nice lamp setup that can keep the HID beam from blinding the local cops.....=/

I'm not sure what vehicle you have exactly, but I have seen some projector beam style lights/housings on ebay. In the past I purchased one of those kits to replace OEM lights on a 1978 280z and the kit held up pretty well. As far as I can tell most of what is on Ebay right now is nearly identical to the kit I had about 4 years ago. Hope this helps some..

Is it the reflectors that are shot or is your lens just yellowed up?

Reflectors most deff. I polished the glass inside and i tried to polish the reflectors but there was barely a shine on them. Im deff loosing projection from the reflector. I was thinking about an HID kit but i dont want johny law on my butt ever single night.......

I was hopping that some awesome person out there had made a projector kit. But those are high hopes

Hey,

I'm not sure about the quality of these, but here is an HID kit on Ebay which claims to fit the sidekick, among other Suzuki models:
