Title: Calmini Rear Swing Away Bumper FYI
Post by: Minmatar on September 15, 2009, 11:58:33 AM
As stated on their Website The 2D has the Swing away Wheel carrier bumper. Why wont this work for a 4D model......

Does anyone know a difference between the 2D And 4D rear setup?

Can this be modified to work out (im sure) but just how much?

*does anyone own one?

Also if anyone knows of any other *solid rear* bumpers could you throw them out. I saw one set that a guy posted but i dont care for the gap it has under the door..... And id like to carry a full size 32.5" x 10.5" 3" offset.

The mounting and width are different between the two. Sean from Low Range Offroad modified a Calmini bumper to work on his personal project 4-door and I think it looks very nice. Maybe, drop him a line to see whazup.

Good luck, Eric
