Title: Bolt Count
Post by: Black Zuk on September 30, 2009, 01:09:51 PM
OK here's a little different question. I want to replace my springs with OME 2" lift springs and I want to replace all the bolts. I mean they are 20 years old so I thought fresh ones would be a good Idea. any one have a list of the bolt sizes? it has calamine reverse shackles if that makes a difference. Other than that it's stock. (as far as i know) and u-bolts as well. Thanks

Must... Display... Patience...

What bolts?

U-Bolts?

Shackle bolts?

Whenever I need to replace a bolt, I go to the hardware store (or an industrial supply/steel sales  store) and search for Grade 10 Metric bolts that match what I took off the truck and brought with me.

If I can't find what I want locally, then it's off to one of the fabulous vendors that advertise here at ZookiWorld!

My apologies, I am working on 3 hours of sleep - temporary shift change at work.

No problem. Sorry for the lack of information and the excess of words. What I'm looking for are the shackle bolts and u-bolt sizes. the guy I bought the ZUK from was a DIY type and the front springs have completely different bolts from one side to the other. so witch ones are correct? IDK some are metric some are inch one is a carriage bolt. (I'm sure that is not right).
Thanks
