This also came with the Tracker in my last post. I can't figure out what it is.

It looks like a strut tower brace to me
-
"Pro Comp" strut tower brace
-
Do the strut towers need bracing?
-
if you take it offroad or like to corner fast I would put it back on

Do the strut towers need bracing?
With heay use off road yhr towers will eventually bend in at the top. giving you a /---\ tire stance. If you dont abuse your ride off road you should be fine.

Ditto this, if you dont put it back on put it somewhere for safe keeping for the future if you decide you need it.

I'll throw in 5 dollars on top of the shipping cost to make it worth your while. :D Not sure it would work on the 96 though, as I think it goes through the middle of my air intake...
If I had one I would probably put it on my rig just because. It doesn't hurt anything after all.

Nice, thats a bit luck. I have looked at fitting a brace to mine in the past but my airbox would need to be repositioned. The strut towers aren't the strongest, they could do with a bit of strengthening.

There is a lot of stuff in the way. I think I'd need to take half the car apart to get it in there!
