Title: my samurai with rear tracker axle
Post by: john1974 on October 09, 2009, 10:30:01 AM
I have to say I cant believe how much difference the 5.12's are. My rear tracker axle swap with the mini spool, and gears was rather easy to do.  I cant drive down the road yet as I have no lights, and need to finish up some things but the test run in the back 5 acres seemed to go well.

Here are a few photos of it on my poor little rock pile...lol

Looks good.  Did you just go with an off-set rear drive shaft?

Yes I used the stock samurai rear driveshaft.  Although its going to need a driveshaft spacer, I might just have the old tracker driveshafts redone when I have the money.
