Where in the hell can i get 5.83's from?

If not, whats the closest set to a 5.83?

93 4D Sidekick 12bolt rear 10bolt front.

Not sure on the 5.83's I do know a guy just posted 5.60'somethings  on my site here is a link to the forsale section in case they interest you.

So is there much call for these gears?  I know Calmini discontinued them, but wasn't sure if it was due to there high pricing, or if there was an issue with their manufacturer.

The thread kinda went on answered on here. Not sure myself. They told me that they dont have any plans on restocking. even though they're on the website..... :'(

The front 5.83 is still available, as far as I know, from Calmini, it's the rears that are hard to get.
I can think of 2 options, get 5.38 sammy gears and change your rear carrier to a sammy one, the front
of a kick is the same gear size, or the new reducer box that TT or someone has out now that goes between the trans and t-case.

Other than that, keep looking for the rare 1.3 88-89 Sidekick, that's where the 5.62s live

5.62 Sidekick R&P's are still available from Suzuki. Petroworks lists the front on their site. They probably can get the rears for you for less than you can get them from Suzuki.

The Problem with the 5.83's is that they are weak. If they are not set up just right they can break. Ask Brent at Trail Tough he hates them. The Reduction box he is making is really the way to go for a reliability standpoint.

Yes.

And on the 5.62s......yeah, they are expensive.....you gotta pay to play. ;)
