I am writing an article at Ack's FAQ about mechanical fuel pump failures.
I need a picture of a mechanical fuel pump (instaled would be very helpful!) showing the pressure relief tube. That's the one that does not have a hose on it and points downward.
You can post it on this thread if you like or PM me the picture.

Its late so I'll probably forget this thread, PM me and I'll take a pic of a 1.6 pump. It looks pretty much the same as a 1.3 but is bigger.

I see that you got a pic. Idid take some pics this evening but theres no breather tube on the 1.6 pump.

I also obtained a picture of the pocket behind the fuel pump so that I can add information to the article concerning the the problem of oil - not gasoline - dripping out of the vent tube.
It appears that this is actually possible, too.
