Post by: dupont#24 on October 11, 2009, 07:28:33 PM
I just realized today wile I  was pulling the motor out of my 87 sammy to put in the 1.6 .That I had a heck of a time getting the motor out.I realized the oil pan on the 1.3 was on backwards.Breant is getting my wiring harness ready.I had a littlt time and I was just wondering why the oil pan was on backwards some body said it cam out of a 2wheel drive It had alot of shimes under the motor mounts and the transmission.I hope I havent got to put all them shims back can someone tell me .Thanks

is the motor out of a swift or sprint or some other car? I know the swift motor has a reverse pan. When you swap out the motor you need to install the zuke pan.

Are you running SOA or SUA? If I recall right you need SOA to run the 1.6 but I might be wrong.
