Title: broke it again
Post by: huntinhick on October 14, 2009, 12:18:32 PM
Alright guys,

before I tear it apart.  I went to back out today and the sidekick bogged down and I had to force it out of the spot once i got going forward it was fine but when i pulled out of another parking spot same thing you can feel something "brakes I believe"  release.  I think it is that the breaks are way worn and due to be replaced anyother ideas?  it is a 97 sidekick sport. and yes it has been making some brake noise noise but working fine.

That doesn't sound like brakes, to me anyway...

might be rear brake shoes worn, and locking into place until you back up.
how about rust in the brake system? do you wheel it and cross water?

Possibly a CV having issues and binding up...
