Title: Seats
Post by: Agent Orange on July 27, 2004, 02:39:44 PM
my tracker has the baseline seats the high back version. when i drive any distance i get sore from the seats i have now, also i'm lacking leg room too. i've noticed that lsi versions came with nicer looking seats with adjustable headests. do these seat offer more comfort, and leg room ? or would seats from a 4dr be better ? i want something that bolts in without having to make custom brackets.

thanks  :)

The LSi seats are pretty cool and damned comfy... but I've not driven any great distances in mine... still thinking about taking the seats out of that'n and putting them into the black one...

yeah, the LSi seat has the lumbar support things and an adjustable headrest.

I'll trade ya 2 norm tracker seats and a ripped up LSi seat for one of your seats ;)

I just swapped in a set of front seats from a JLX 4 door and they are not a direct bolt in :( The tracks are about 1 inch closer together than on a two door. Not a huge problem but I had to redrill the outer 2 holes to make them fit. They are definately softer than the stock seats, not sure if that's a good thing with my fat arse sitting on them. ::)

i have had both, the LSI's are WAY better.  alot more on the sides to keep you from sliding around, big diff from the stock non-LSI seats.
