I have a 1986 Sami 1.3...I put a Weber carb.38 mm...there is a hose on the right side of the carb...that is hooked into the front of the carb...with this hooked up there is fuel just dumping into the carb...I have it plugged and pull the manual choke out about a 1/2 in....runs good...I called redline and they said I need a fuel pressure regulator...I have tried to find this and most articles are talking about fuel injection...also said I don't need more than 3 #'s of pressure...where do I get this part...also have a really loud whining sounds like it is coming from the rear end I read that the fuel pump can cause this squealing...I want to fix it right but I don't have the money to chase ghost...does anyone KNOW what is going on...and tell me the fix and where I can get what I need to fix it....Thanks MH

You can put an inline fuel pressure regulator available at most any auto past store for not much money. It has a detent knob on the top that let's you easily set the pressure. I run at 1.5 pounds for my Weber.
I also use the other extra fuel line connector on the side of the Weber DGAx 32/36 (usually plugged with a brass bolt) to route extra fuel back to the tank return line. That way you won't overpressure the hoses and the carb inet.
You'll have to find a local place that works on import cars to get a barbed hose connector with the right threads on it for the extra fuel connection mentioned above - at least that's where I found mine. Feel free to ask more questions if I have missed something!
I hope that this helps!

Yeah! One of those!
I also got a cheap pressure gage and put inline with the output of the regulator. The pressure gage is nice, but not necessary.
