Title: broken speedometer- tracker
Post by: tonyman246 on October 22, 2009, 10:11:30 AM: what could be the cause of my speedometer not working? all the other gauges work but the speed o doesnt.

Possibly the cable has came out of the back of the gauge cluster or you have broken speedo cable.

Post by: Drone637 on October 23, 2009, 05:57:04 PM: If the odometer works and the speedometer does not then the speedo is broken. You need to buy a new speedo gauge and switch to it. For some reason in the later models the pin that the speedo uses likes to break.

Post by: zukimoo on October 24, 2009, 06:06:34 PM: take out the guage cluster and go for a spin....look to see if the cable is turning. If it's still turning then you only need a cluster.

Your speedometer cable is fine, it's the speedometer itself that is broken. You need to pick up a new speedometer or just a new cluster.
