Can anyone answer a coulpe of questions on Calmini Lift Kits.
Do there Struts and Shocks have extra travel over standard?
Why does the 2" kit only have rear coils(other than price answer)shouldn't you replace the front at the same time?
Would the 3" be a better value for money?
Any mods that have to be done to fit the 3"kit(brake lines, cabels, fuel lines?)or is that only with the body lift?

1ST Q. UNSURE
2ND Q. I THINK ITS DUE TO THE A ARMS THAT GETS YOU THE 2" LIFT. SO THEY WERE NOT NEEDED.
3RD Q I CHOSE TO GO WITH THE 3 " CAUSE I WANT MY TRUCK TO BE EQUIPPED WITH A WINCH IN FUTURE & PLAN ON MAKING IT AN OFFROAD BEAST WHEN I GET A SEPERATE ZUKE FOR MY D.D. IT IS A HARSHER ON ROAD RIDE I HAVE READ THAN THE 2" ON THE ROAD, BUT OFF ROAD THE 3" HAS MORE ARTICULATION.
4TH Q. THE BODY LIFT REQUIRES YOU TO DRILL A NEW HOLE IN THE SIDEWALL FOR YOUR BRAKELINE. & TO ADJUST YOUR STEERING COLUMN. BUT IT DEPENDS ON THE STYLE YOU HAVE, AS WHAT YOU WOULD NEED TO DO.
IN SHORT I LOVE MY 6" COMBO SET UP ON MY 4 DOOR KICK. ITS ALL IN WHAT YOUR INTENSIONS ARE.

Just addin a little to NY's post.
1- The struts are facrory length and the shocks are a little longer (acording to lift) with the Calmini lift Kits.
2- Yes the lift is achieved with the Control arms and the fron springs are not needed. I have ran this kit on two of my vehicles now and have had now trouble at all of ot it.
3-For off road based vehicle I would highly reccomend the 3" over the 2". There are a few fairly simple mods you can do to tweek the already flexable kit into a great off road kit, where the 2" is prety much maxed out without you fabing new parts. But on the other hand if you are going to primarly bee on road the 2" kit will ride better. The 3" was designed for the extra weight od a winch, bumpers, roll cage, etc... and will ride fairly rough without the extra weight.

Thanks again I think it has answered my questions.
I am leaning towards the 3" as i have the bulbar, winch and a half cage coming.
The 2" here is $1250 and the 3" about $1500 so will have to save a bit more.
